WILL MY PUPPY BE TRAINED?

No, but because our puppies are hand raised in our home they will have an excellent foundation, far better then what you get from your typical breeder. We hope to have them familiar with common basic training commands such as, "Come," "Go potty on the potty pad," "No biting," and several others prior to coming home with you, but they will still need lots of practice and encouragement from you!

HOW MUCH WILL MY GOLDENDOODLE WEIGH?

It is very difficult to give an exact weight with a designer dog breed such as the Mini Golden Doodle. You can typically average the weight of both parents and that figure is generally what your puppy will weigh. The two biggest factors in determining the mature weight of your puppy, other then the parents weight, is the type of food you feed to your puppy, and their activity level. We believe the F1B puppies will weigh approximately 17.5lbs when fully grown.

ARE WE ABLE TO SEE MOM AND DAD?

We are a mother daughter team and we own both mom and dad. Both parents will be here when you arrive to pick up your puppy.

Covfefe averages 28 pounds

Dad averages 6.5-7 pounds

DO YOU BREED STANDARD GOLDEN DOODLES?

Unfortunately we do not. We only breed Miniature F1B Golden Doodles at this time.

WHAT TYPE OF FOOD DO YOU RECOMMEND?

We recommend feeding foods that meet WSAVA criteria due to the recent rise in DCM cases. Please visit WSAVA.org for current global food guidelines and a list of approved food brands. At the time of this writing, Purina Pro Plan Focus Chicken and Rice Puppy meets WSAVA guidelines and the puppies are doing very well with it. If budget is a concern, Iams Small Breed Puppy is an excellent quality food for your puppy that is readily available and currently meets the guidelines as of this writing. Please be very careful with their diet. Generally, things that are not good for people are not good for puppies, and many human foods can make their tiny tummies sick.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are a mother daughter team located in Winter Springs & Edgewater Florida.

ARE YOU A KENNEL?

We are NOT a kennel. Our puppies are raised in our home. We stay home with the puppies and only leave for doctors appointments and the occasional grocery trip, but our puppies are never alone.

WHEN WILL MY PUPPY BE WEANED OFF BREASTMILK?

Your puppy will be weaned prior to going home. We believe breastmilk is the best milk and we like to make sure they get as much of that liquid gold as possible before going home. We start introducing puppy food slowly, and will have them weaned by the time they are ready to go to their forever home. We do not discourage intermittent breastfeeding up until this point.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY PUPPIES YOU HAVE LEFT?

We accept deposits on future litters year round. If you are interested in a specific puppy or sex please text 386-689-0887 with any questions about reserving a specific puppy.

HOW DO I GET ON YOUR WAITING LIST?

Click on the payments tab and submit your 10% deposit. This will reserve your spot on our waiting list. When we have a confirmation of pregnancy we will contact you with an estimated due date. We allow puppies to be picked based on videos and pictures and/or facetime. If you wish to be pushed back to the next available litter we allow buyers to transfer their deposit to the NEXT AVAILABLE litter ONE TIME ONLY if we are notified no less then three weeks prior to their originally scheduled pick up date.

WHY DON'T YOU USE XRAYS TO CONFIRM PREGNANCY?

Radiation isn't good for people, let alone tiny babies or puppies. We utilize a local mobile ultrasound technician who comes to our home and does ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy. We can't always get an accurate count of exactly how many puppies we have, but it is safer for the puppies and safer for Momma.

ARE MINI GOLDEN DOODLES GOOD WITH LITTLE KIDS?

Mini Golden Doodles are excellent family pets. They are fantastic with children and are well socialized with exposure to all age ranges while in our home.

I MADE MY DEPOSIT, NOW WHAT?

Please text me at 386-689-0887. Let me know that you sent in your deposit. I will message you back to schedule an opportunity to choose your puppy and puppy pickup can be arranged approximately one week prior to their pickup date.

WHEN DO WE GET TO PICK OUR PUPPY?

We would like to know your puppy preference on or around their four week birthday. Those who placed their deposit first will be able to choose their puppy first. We hope to gain a good understanding of their personalities and what type of family structure will work best for each individual puppy during their 4th-5th week of life. We must know your puppy preference by their 5 week birthday.

HOW DO I PREPARE TO PICK UP MY PUPPY?

Please come clean and freshly showered. Please do not visit a pet store, dog park or rest area prior to coming to our home. Please do not bring any other pets. Please be prepared to remove your shoes and wash your hands when you come to our home. Puppies have very fragile immune systems and are not able to receive all of their shots because they are still too young, therefore, they are very susceptible to germs.

IS THE 10% DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?

The deposit is NOT refundable if you change your mind. God forbid a medical issue with the puppy arises or something else that prevents us from giving you a healthy pet quality puppy with a health certificate we will refund 100% of your deposit including all applicable fees. Undescended testicle/s is not considered a health complication or medical issue, they're just too young still. Should you be unable to complete the purchase of your puppy due to unforeseen circumstances you may push your deposit forward ONCE to the next available litter from Love is a GoldenDoodle ONLY IF you notify Alicia at 386-689-0887 a minimum of three weeks prior to your puppy pickup date. If you do not notify Alicia an absolute minimum of three weeks prior to your scheduled puppy pickup date you forfeit 100% of your deposit and you do not have the option to apply the deposit to our next litter. If Love is a GoldenDoodle is unable to provide you a puppy within 18 months from your originally scheduled or forward adjusted puppy pick-up date, you will receive a 100% refund including all fees and taxes.

WHAT IF I CAN'T PICK UP MY PUPPY ON OUR SCHEDULED PICK UP DAY?

If for any reason you are unable to pickup your puppy on puppy pickup day we will hold your puppy for an additional fee of $25 per day for an absolute maximum of 30 days. We also require a 25% deposit instead of the standard 10% deposit. Both must be paid in full prior to your newly scheduled puppy pickup date. For example; if you are purchasing an F1B puppy that is supposed to be picked up on February 1st, but you can not pick up your puppy until February 7th, you must pay a full 25% deposit of $625 in addition to a $175 fee for holding the puppy for 7 days. You would owe a total of $800 BEFORE February 1st. The remaining balance of $1,875 would be due in cash when puppy is picked up on February 7th. Our veterinarian provides health certificates that are only good for 30 days. The puppy must be transferred to his or her new owners within that 30 day time frame.
